There are a few items hidden is some weird spots, and to expect people to travel through these constant blizzards is a bit time consuming. Some places or puzzles require the wind to blow a certain direction to reach your goal, You will spend time on certain puzzles (or cliff sides) waiting for a blizzard to blow the right direction, I waited about 12 minutes on one before I decided to write this review. As youre fighting a blizzard most of the time, so you travel at a crawl. I beat the game and i need to find the last 10 totems and 2 notes but there is no desire to traverse this rather small map. Exploring is over 1/2 the game, considering how short the boss battles are, most the game is just walking to the boss or exploring for collectibles. It sounds like 1 bad thing but it makes exploring extremely tedious. You do this cheese/exploit of rolling/grapple/sprint and need to hunt food every 7 minutes because you drained all your energy trying to speed walk through a blizzard or skip deep snow paths.ĮITHER WAY you will be spending a lot of time in blizzards. Spend 5-10 minutes walking every 100 meters
Blizzards happen within 3-5 minutes of each other (except for 2 scripted areas) and some places are just 100% blizzards, and a lot of the map is covered in Deep Snow, You will do one of 2 things
Honestly a good game, and the Bosses are goodīut this game is really just a glorified "walking through the snow" simulator, and it eats up a lot of time just walking.
